I have been an educator for 31 years; twelve years as a teacher in the Quaker Valley School District; sixteen years as an administrator in the North Alegheny Schol District; and three years as the Assistant Superintendent for the Neshannock Township School District. I have been a resident of McCandless for the past fourteen years. I have a Doctorate in Administrative Policy and School Law. I have a business background in loan financing, and have served as the acting president of a loan office in Southern California. Currently, I serve on the advisory board for the Center for Safe Schools in Harrisburg and recently have been asked to consider serving on a new committee for Homeland Security. In addition, I am one of the first committee members and board of directors for the Northern Areas Alliance Against High Addictive Drugs.
