Candidate for
Member, Board of Education; New Rochelle City School District

I have spent more than 36 years within the field of education serving as both a teacher and an administrator. My goal during all of that time was to impart both knowledge and a love of learning in the students with whom I came in contact. There are no "slow" learners nor "fast" learners. Children learn at their own pace and, in the end, all children have the ability to rise to the occasion.

School Districts are empowered to provide what they deem to be the finest resources to address the learning modalities of their population. Through an open and honest dialogue between the School District, its personnel and its community, the direction for meeting the needs of every child can be determined.

School Districts are not infalible, but we, as a School Board, have the obligation to provide the oversight that parents have entrusted in us to insure that their child(ren) are being provided the highest quality education.

My experience in education will serve as an asset to the New Rochelle community.
