This information is provided by the candidate
I was born and raised on the east side of Erie, graduating from East High School. I received an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State-Behrend. I attended Gannon University part-time while working and received a Bachelor's in Business Administration. I met my wife Christine while attending Gannon. We were married in 1987 and moved to Harborcreek in 1989.
I started getting more involved in politics after the 2000 election, volunteering for candidates and joining groups of like-minded individuals, such as the Lake Erie Alliance for Democracy (LEAD), a group opposed to the Iraq occupation and interested in social justice. I was Vice President of LEAD in 2006-07. I also became a committe man for my area in 2006.
