Candidate for
Attorney General; State of Pennsylvania

I have been working to protect Pennsylvania families for over thirty years. I have served as a prosecutor at every level of government. As Attorney General, I have aggressively pursued those who prey on the most vulnerable of our communities, our children and our seniors.

When I campaigned four years ago for Pennsylvania Attorney General, I made four promises regarding the issue of public safety and I am pleased to report that I have accomplished each one.

I created a Child Predator Unit which has arrested over 130 Internet predators to date; I created an Elder Abuse Unit to protect our seniors from financial fraud and physical abuse; I created a Public Corruption Unit to protect citizens from government corruption and abuse of power; and lastly, I put an increased priority on going after more complex drug cases, which has resulted in very successful efforts to stop the spread of drugs and violent drug gangs in our communities.

In addition to those fulfilled promises, I have created an Education and Outreach Unit to better educate our children about drug and alcohol abuse, Internet safety, cyber bullying and school safety. I am also proud of our public protection efforts, as we have returned tens of millions of dollars to Pennsylvania taxpayers and consumers who have been misled or taken advantage of by individuals and companies.

As Attorney General, I am dedicated to continuing this important work and protecting our children and seniors from those that would do them harm, reaffirming the public's trust in our elected officials, making sure that our communities are safe and free of drugs and gang activity and protecting Pennsylvania consumers from those who commit fraud.
