Current State Representative since 2007. Filed six bills, three were passed and signed into law; property tax reform, crime victims protection and compensation, and veterans services. Retired Department of Defense Budget/Project Manager, twelve years on the Kirkwood School Board. Thirty year volunteer in schools. U.S. Naval Officer 1971-75.

2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (50 word limit)

Answer from Rick Stream:
I will work to hold all schools and universities accountable for a quality education, and I will re-file my two bills to reform the St. Louis Public School System. I will promote economic development to bring in quality jobs with healthcare benefits, thereby increasing state revenue without raising taxes. I will work to lower taxes, such as the state income tax. In the last two years, we passed three bills improving Missouri's healthcare system and access to it. I will continue to provide more funding for the truly needy; the elderly, mothers with children, and the disabled.
