? 1. What, if anything, do you believe the federal government should do to control global climate change?

Answer from Nicholas Gerber:

Global climate change is just one consequence of a much larger picture. Being environmentally friendly to our planet. We should remember that we are custodians of the land for our children and our children's children. We should leave Earth better then we found it and Washington DC can play a leading roll in this matter.

? 2. What should the federal government do, if anything, to ensure that every American has health coverage?

Answer from Nicholas Gerber:

Washington DC should make the costs of healthcare lower so that many more people can afford it. This would include:

1) Allowing insurance companies to sell across state lines. 2) Reforming the FDA and making the drug approval process quicker. 3) Allowing cheaper FDA approved drugs to be imported from Canada.

? 3. What, if anything, should the federal government do about immigration?

Answer from Nicholas Gerber:

The federal government should protect our borders against illegal immigration and harshly punish those who help or employ people illegally.

We should also realize that we are a nation of immigrants and that new people from around the world bring unique insight and strength to our cultural melting pot. We should allow more and easier legal immigration.
