Living Conditions for Our Paramedics & EMT's

Candidate for Director; Cambria Community Healthcare District; 4 Year Term

Property,owned by the HCD,currently rents out two suites to Doctors, practicing in Cambria. The remaining space for our housing needs is unacceptable when one considers the current state of affairs at the Health Care District.
The Health District is a 24/7 operation with approx. 30 paramedics/EMT's. The current facility houses an office, small kitchen, common room, one bathroom/shower and two bedrooms. Two addition bedrooms are located in a separate facility. The building is approx. 50 years old.

In the difficult financial times we are currently experiencing the challenge for the future of The District is building the necessary facilities to house the emergency responce teams. We have just purchased two new ambulances, which will require shelter from the weather. They are currently parked outside.

Whatever the outcome of the current election, I would implore every citizen of Cambria to visit the current housing facility.
