Board Member; San Francisco Unified School District

Jaynry has been committed and dedicated to working with children and their families for over 15 years.

As Chairwoman of Community Youth Center in San Francisco (CYC-SF), Jaynry leads a non-profit organization that provides counseling, violence prevention and leadership development to over 3,000 public school students onsite at 15 schools, including two elementary schools, two middle schools, and eleven high schools. Jaynry has been active with this organization for numerous years + first, as a teenage volunteer and later providing pro bono legal services while in law school.

Jaynry has been a member of the SFUSD Hardship Appeals Board for Student Assignment and Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center Community Council. Additionally, she has served San Francisco as staff for then-Supervisor Fiona Ma and the late Congressman Tom Lantos. Jaynry has worked on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors' Joint City and School Board Select Committee.

Jaynry is an attorney-at-law and has held leadership positions in numerous local community organizations.

Born and raised in the Sunset District, Jaynry lives with her husband, Cliff and their son, Tanner.
