A fourth generation San Franciscan, Sean Elsbernd has lived in the West of Twin Peaks neighborhood all his life. He was educated in our neighborhood schools, played in our neighborhood parks and now makes our neighborhood his home with his wife Jennifer. A member of the Board of Supervisors since 2004, Sean has established himself as a Board leader known for his hard work, common sense approach, integrity and fiscal responsibility. During his four years on the Board, Sean has demonstrated that he is willing take on the tough issues. He has worked diligently to streamline and reduce City expenditures, and effectively balanced the health and retirement benefits of City employees and retirees with the City's financial health. Measure B, the culmination of Sean's efforts to protect the City's fiscal future, was supported by the voters with 74% on June 3rd. Sean's advocacy and ability to secure funding for park and library renovations have resulted in safer playgrounds and more accessible libraries in District 7 and citywide. Sean will always work to ensure the basic quality of life issues important to the residents of District 7 are his top priorities. |
