The fidciary duty of the Board is among its most important duties.
The Fire Service, along with other public service agencies is faced with providing high levels of service and meeting high community expectations in an environment of legislation that leads to reduced revenues.

The majority of the budget is provided for through property taxes. The current downturn in housing and other economic uncertainties will have an adverse effect on the District budget.

Additional revenue options should be explored and the Board should act in a fiscally responsible way, while maintaining sensitivity to the needs of our community.
