Full Biography for Jason Patin

My name is Jason Patin and I am running for city council here in beautiful Ridgecrest, California. I have been raised in the area, met and married my beautiful wife, Deidre 17 years ago, and am now raising our two sons, Christian and Bradley in the same, safe community that I experienced as a child. We moved to the Los Angeles area where I was able to work my way up in the movie industry. It was through my career with Sony Pictures that I was entrusted with producing a multi-million dollar independent movie project entitled, "Rustin". I had the awesome opportunity of bringing this movie back here to our local theatre for a free screening for the local residents. After returning to Ridgecrest, I became very involved with the youth sports programs, where I served on the IWV baseball and football boards for a total of four years. When I first joined the baseball board, there were only five of us filling an 18 position board, and we began the season with a zero balance. Over the past four years we have built it up to a $10,000 balance to begin each season as well as a full board. I currently own business in property redevelopment, and in only a year and a half have grown it from $65,000 to over half a million dollars in assets. My family and I are active members of St. Ann's Church, where I am a regular usher and member of the Knights of Columbus. My heart has always remained in this community, and my passion is to see our city thrive, while still maintaining its charm. |
