As a successful environmental scientist, grantwriter, financial manager, and active member of multiple boards and advisory committees for nonprofit groups and government agencies, I understand the value of prioritizing needs and establishing timelines for long term strategic planning. Now is the time to begin planning for infrastructure replacements and upgrades. I have worked on water policy issues affecting both state and federal jurisdictions; water quality dilemmas requiring site-specific solutions, and other community concerns. I am running for HBMWD Division 2 as my passion for maintaining local control of our water runs deep. California is thirsty. I am ready to work hard and initiate proactive measures related to water rights, reduce the District's greenhouse gas emissions, and keep rates affordable for the community. I have successfully worked with a variety of personalities and look forward to working with you. |
