I am the only candidate who has experience leading an organization, developing it's strategic plan, being responsible for it's profits and losses and driving outcomes.
- The quality of life of the citizens of Concord is being threatened by the increase in crime, a growth in gangs and gang related crimes, increase in drug use, growing traffic congestion, a growing homeless population and the threat of our local environment being compromised. We have a shrinking state budget that has reduced the amount of funds the city has received from the state and we have a major decision to make regarding the reuse of the Naval Weapons Station.
- I will create partnerships and initiatives that will help with the challenges we are facing today. These challenges can best be solved by someone who has the leadership skills to build partnerships and the courage and ability to drive outcomes.
- I will use my experience balancing budgets to help our city stay free of the States budget issues.
I will build partnerships that will support my initiative for making Concord a more resource efficient city. I will fearlessly tackle the homeless issues, and continue to support the police department to maintain the health and safety that we have become accustomed to in Concord.
- I am excited about the opportunity to share my plan for supporting our local schools by working with the school board in giving incentives to our best teachers.
- I look forward to using my entrepreneurial experience and knowledge to insure that the plans for the Naval Weapons station are sound, smart, pleasing and profitable and I will insist that we protect our open space.
