- *Exerienced all aspects of the legal system--Civil, Criminal, Labor, Government.
- *Criminal Gang Injunctions Specialist.
2. Why are you running for Superior Court judge? (No more than 75 words total for questions 2 and 3.)
Crime Victims deserve as much protection as criminals. I'll provide fair trials and sentence those who are convicted based upon their criminal conduct and history. Public safety is the foremost duty of a State Court judge.3. What experiences and personal qualities best equip you to serve as judge? (No more than 75 words total for questions 2 and 3.)
I've conducted over 300 jury trials and administrative hearings. I've obtained several Injunctions against the most violent criminal street gangs so they stop hanging out in public, intimidating residents, and selling drugs on street corners. The public is safer.
Responses to questions asked of each candidate are reproduced as submitted to the League. Until 5:00 p.m. on April 4, 2008, candidates for Superior Court Judge must limit their answers to 100 words total for all questions so that a paper Voters Guide may be published. Specific word limits are as follows: 25 words for question 1; 75 words total for questions 2 and 3. After 5:00 p.m. on April 4, 2008, word limits will no longer apply.Read the answers from all candidates (who have responded).
