As a young Democrat, In the 1950's and as President of a Downey, Ca. Democratic Club, I was named as State Co-Chair To Elect Pat Brown Sr. as Governor of California. We were sucessful in electing Pat Brown Sr. Governor. Governor Pat Brown selected me to be Statewide Co-Chair of the Committee to Elect John Kennedy to the Presidency of The United States of America. We were sucessful in the carrying of the State of California, by a large plurality, to elect John Kennedy President. I have served in many capacities in the Democratic Party, over many years, always remaining loyal to my State-Assemblyman, my State Senator, My elected Congressman or Congresswoman, and The Democratic Leaders in the County Supervisors offices. I have worked diligently to get the Democratic Candidates elected to City Council's, and to the various School Board offices & to the Water Boards.I served one elected term on the Baldwin Park School Board,& 4-years on B.P. Zoning Board, before moving to Whittier, in 1973.In 1973, my wife Joan and I joined Mark-Twain Democratic Club. I have remained loyal & very active in Democratic Politics, for My entire life! Currently, I am the elected President of the Mark-Twain Democratic Club, of Whittier, California, and I served as an Incumbant on Dem-County Central -Committee, for the past year.
