C. Edward Mack has the following qualifications:
- Admitted to State Bar of California in 1989.
- Five years of civil experience as a Judicial Law Clerk.
- Seventeen and a half years of criminal experience as a Los Angeles County Public Defender.
- Tried more than 100 jury trials. Handled many complex cases including murder, kidnaping, car-jacking, child molestation, armed robbery, gang crimes, drug sales and possession.
- Experience reviewing cases. Clerked for the presiding judges of the Los Angeles Municipal Court from December 1985 to September 1990, evaluating cases for entry of civil default judgments and ex parte orders.
- Vietnam Era Veteran, served in the U. S. Air Force as Airman First Class, Barksdale AFB, Bossier City, Louisiana. Secret Security Clearance, Honorable Discharge. Two tours of duty to Southeast Asia, deployed at radar sites in Thailand as a geodetic computations expert, where I calculated earth coordinates for B-52 bombing raids and on occasions, tracked the B-52's and scored their missions and bombing accuracy.
- Civil servant at heart. Has served in every level of government - federal, state, county and city.
