- criminal prosecutor for 22 years, 7 as a supervisor
- 95 per cent conviction rate for serious felonies
- endorsed by prosecutors, judges, and defense attorneys
2. Why are you running for Superior Court judge? (No more than 75 words total for questions 2 and 3.)
The bench is the ultimate goal of my career in public service. I would like to address the delays and ethical issues that currently exist. I want our courts to be more responsive to the needs of victims, witnesses and jurors.3. What experiences and personal qualities best equip you to serve as judge? (No more than 75 words total for questions 2 and 3.)
I have a strong sense of fairness which I feel would make me an outstanding judge. My experience in management has taught me the skills necessary to efficently run the business of a courtroom.
Responses to questions asked of each candidate are reproduced as submitted to the League. Until 5:00 p.m. on April 4, 2008, candidates for Superior Court Judge must limit their answers to 100 words total for all questions so that a paper Voters Guide may be published. Specific word limits are as follows: 25 words for question 1; 75 words total for questions 2 and 3.
