My husband Tom and I have lived in Norwood for over 10 years. Throughout our marriage, we have lived in many different communities, but Norwood really fit the bill for us. I have volunteered for many different organizations over the years, such as Channel 48's Action Auction, Tall Stacks and the Taste of Cincinnati, to name a few. I served as the Ward 5 council representative for Norwood for four years, from 2002-2005. I am currently employed with Horizon Certified Development Company here in Norwood, administering the SBA 504 loan program to help small business owners. My experience in banking and business development uniquely qualifies me to assist in the development of small businesses in Norwood. I have been able to work with other council members for the betterment of the city, even as a minority member, such as when I initiated the overhaul of Norwood's vicious dog ordinance while on council.
I am a member of the following great organizations: Norwood Business and Professional Women's Club, Norwood Fireworks Committee-the group who brings you Norwood's Hometown Fireworks on the 4th of July, Norwood Service League-Vice Chair to the executive board, Norwood COP (Citizens On Patrol, Norwood Schools Lunch Buddy (school mentor) Program, Norwood Historical Society, Norwood Girl Scouts, and the Norwood Republican Club.
