Diverse Judicial Experience is an Important StrengthBy Michael V. "Mike" CoccomaCandidate for Justice; New York Supreme Court; Judicial District 6 | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
I believe strongly in the important role of the judiciary. And I believe that my record of 12 years of diverse judicial experience demonstrates I am best qualified to serve the people of the Sixth Judicial District as a Supreme Court Justice. In my time on the bench over the past decade, I have embraced all possible opportunities -- such as challenging state-wide committee duties, assignment of difficult court cases, and the training of other judges and lawyers -- to enhance my learning, increase my skills and broaden my knowledge of the law. I know firsthand the importance of a well-qualified and independent judiciary. I am well qualified, experienced on the job, impartial and open-minded, and committed to carefully applying the law for fair and just results. Judge Michael V. Coccoma. |
