  • Acting Supreme Court Justice, appointed in 2000 hearing cases in Delaware and Otsego counties.
  • Presiding Judge, Otsego County Drug Treatment Court.
  • Otsego County Judge since 1995 handling three courts: Family Court, Otsego County criminal court and Surrogate's Court.
  • Otsego County District Attorney.
  • Otsego County Assistant District Attorney.
  • Otsego County Attorney.
  • Department of Social Services Attorney.

Leadership Experience
  • Appointment to the N.Y.S. Matrimonial Commission charged with examining and recommending reforms in divorce proceedings.
  • Appointment to statewide Family Court Advisory and Rules Committee to propose improvements in family court.
  • Established Otsego County Law Guardian Office to ensure specially-trained lawyers represent the rights of children in Family Court.
  • Instrumental in creating the Children's Center at Otsego County court house to provide daycare for family members at court.
  • Lecturer training judges in evidence, case management and trial procedure and training attorneys to serve as law guardians.
  • Played a leadership role in building the coalition of law enforcement, social services agencies, health care representatives and judicial services to establish Drug treatment court.
