I am a 48-year resident of Burlingame, married with three children, and have run our family+owned business for the past 23 years. I have worked with various community groups to help improve the quality of life for our seniors, and those less fortunate that myself.
I have worked with, and help coordinate efforts with various police and sheriff's departments to develop strong anti-gang efforts on the peninsula. To that end we have place over 70 in danger youths into apprentice programs with the cooperation of the local unions. These youths now have employable skills that will help them become a positive contributor within the community.
I have served on the Sheriff Reserve Search and Rescue Operations for over 20 years, and have been instrumental in developing training aids for them to use in training new recruits.
I was the past chairman of Burlingame's Traffic and Safety Commission where I was instrumental in getting CalTrain to expedite the placement of a safety fence along the track between Broadway and Oak Grove.
