My name is Dr. Eugene M. Krank. I am a doctor of Podiatric Medicine. I have practiced medicine and surgery for 9 years prior to coming to Hawthorne. I have been involved in many school activities to include, multiple field trips, career day speaker, chess coach for HMSA, basketball coach for HMS, committee member for HMS in achieving distinguished school status. The idea to run for school board was inspired by faculty members who felt I would be a good board member because of my sincere and diligent participation in school activities. I am the only candidate that has children actually attending schools within the district. I have three. Two at HMS and one at HMSA. I truly have a vested interest in the direction of education in Hawthorne.
