1. What are the three major issues you would address immediately if elected?
1) Crime: Civil confinement for pedophiles and rapists; address quality of life issues. Taxes: Cap property taxes to keep seniors and families in Westchester. Education: Lift tax burden from Westchester homeowners.2. What is your opinion regarding the formation of an independent redistricting commission?
2) Would such a commission truly be independent when political parties are responsible for appointing its members? The very nature of this commission would politicize the redistricting process.3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?
3) A lifelong District resident and graduate of Westchester schools. I have advocated vigorously for children, families, elderly, needy and the business community as an attorney and public servant.
Responses to questions asked of each candidate are reproduced as submitted to the League.
