1. What are the three major issues you would address immediately if elected?
Controlling property taxes by shifting burdens away from local governments; reform of government operations; strong environmental protections to clean our air, water and land.2. What is your opinion regarding the formation of an independent redistricting commission?
I fully support fair, independent redistricting; co-sponsor of A.6287 (Gianaris). As County Board Chairman, authored a fair, County redistricting plan with LWV participation (2001).3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?
I will continue to work hard, building on my past experience in government, and my on-going commitment to reform and renewal.
