1. What are the three major issues you would address immediately if elected?*

Answer from Suzi Oppenheimer:

Improve state funding for local school districts throughout the state. Provide property tax relief to assist overburdened taxpayers. Reform state government to make budget and decision-making process more open, accountable.


2. What is your opinion regarding the formation of an independent redistricting commission?*

Answer from Suzi Oppenheimer:

I strongly support creation of an independent nonpartisan commission to establish legislative districts and reform the current process.


3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?*

Answer from Suzi Oppenheimer:

I have been an open, accessible, responsive representative and a leader on issues affecting Westchester including education, property tax relief, reform, environmental protection, and issues affecting women, families, and children.
