1. What are the three major issues you would address immediately if elected?*
|
Answer from Kenneth P. Harper:
1) School property tax reform, campaign finance and ethics reform and a complete overhaul of the hundreds of public authorities that have virtually no oversight or accountability.
Answer from Greg Ball:
Permanently freeze school taxes at age 65. Expand STAR, while introducing a fairer means of collecting School Taxes. Crack down on illegal immigrants, and those who hire and house them.
2. What is your opinion regarding the formation of an independent redistricting commission?*
|
Answer from Greg Ball:
I'll fight for this and a revolution of reform in Albany, including term limits, budget and ethics reform and tax relief. We must end the dysfunctional reign of our legislature.
Answer from Kenneth P. Harper:
2) I support this idea without qualification
3. What makes you the best candidate for this office?*
|
Answer from Greg Ball:
An Air Force Captain and businessman, I have the energy, vision and leadership it will take to tackle these tough issues and fight for tax relief and reform in Albany.
Answer from Kenneth P. Harper:
3) I am not an incumbent. New York's State government has been described as the "Least deliberative and most dysfunctional" in the country. I am willing and eager to change this.
