A THANK YOU TO MY SUPPORTERSBy Beverly Fitch "Beve" (Fitch) McCarthyCandidate for Trustee; Stockton Unified School District; Trustee Area 5 | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
Dear Supporters: Please know how grateful I am for your support of my campaign for the District 5 seat on the Stockton Unified School District Board of Trustees. Nothing I have done in my years of public service is as important as my commitment to preparing our young people to lead their generation, and ours, to a better America through better education. Your generosity enables me to help implement policies that will ensure that teachers and administrators work to improve student scores, particularly in the areas of English, science and mathematics. If no student is truly not to be left behind, your support is essential to that effort. My mission will be to provide the best possible education for them, and the motivation and innovation for success. On a personal note, John and I are so appreciative of the efforts that our six children received in the Stockton Public Schools. Four have graduated from college and two have earned post graduate degrees. Your support of my candidacy suggests your recognition of my long experience as a Stockton teacher, director, and counselor. Your recognition of that energizes my desire to help your children. Please contact me with your concerns and suggestions to realize this goal and to offer me the opportunity to thank you in person. Sincerely yours, Beverly Fitch McCarthy |
