Board Member; Del Mar Union School District

Our school board must be accountable for better decision-making.

Board members should be promoting quality education and properly managing assets for the long term, not squandering limited resources on lawsuits and poor oversight of operations. Our children and their teachers deserve a better decision-making process by the board to insure quality education for the long term in our community.

Katherine White has the experience to improve district accountability.

Katherine has BS and MSEE and management degrees along with 15 years of experience as a senior executive at the region's leading telecommunications companies. She has managed multi-million dollar construction projects on time and under budget, and successfully managed large knowledge-based organizations.

Katherine White is committed to Fiscal responsibility and Proper Due Diligence.

Katherine believes in equitable pay and knows how to reward and motivate skilled employees. Katherine believes in fiscal responsibility and has the skills to manage budgets effectively.

Active in our community.

Katherine White has served as PTA president, on site council and many district level positions including strategic planning, boundary and budget committees. Her recent community involvement was on the board of Girl Scouts.

Katherine White has one child currently in Del Mar schools, one child who attended Del Mar Schools (K-6), and one child age 4.
