We need more funds for better teachers and administrators; better tutorial programs and community/school health and family counseling centers. But key to developing these programs is voter education, voter registration and successfully rallying the community to exercise their vote.

Our teachers, administrators and staff are doing the best job possible in our schools. But we need more professionally prepared and experienced teachers, administrators and staff, to increase student academic achievement.

How do we do this? We need to increase health benefits and wages so that even better qualified teachers, administrators and staff can be employed and the result will be that our student's growth in academic achievement will be better planned, implemented and successfully achieved.

Our community is working towards improving our student's academic achievement. But we need better tutorial programs and more community/school health and family counseling centers, to improve our student's academic achievement.

How do we do all this? We need to increase our financial resources to improve these services for ALL students in our community.

TO DO THAT, WE NEED TO ORGANIZE OUR COMMUNITY AROUND ISSUES OF VOTER REGISTRATION, AND THEN GO VOTE!

Experience: 50 year Chula Vista / Southbay resident; 25 year veteran Regular and Special Education teacher: 5 years Elementary, 8 years Middle School, 2 years High School and 10years working with Special Populations (Homeless, Indigent, Special Education).
