- Homelessness: We Can Do Better
-
Recent city initiatives to move chronically homeless people into housing, combined with more enforcement and referral help from the police and courts, will result in fewer people living on our streets. I am seeking another term on the city council to make sure this happens.
- Resident-Friendly Development
-
Santa Monica is already one of the most densely populated cities in California, and tens of thousands more people commute here every day. We must not pack any more high-rise buildings or large developments into our city. I will continue to support future development that is compatible with the small-town feeling we want to keep--no high rises or huge projects!
- Rent Control
-
I support rent control in Santa Monica. People must have a sense of security in their homes.
