To Be A Voice For The Youth In Our Community

The youth of this community have some great ideas about how things should change in Rio Dell. Our kids are the eyes and ears of our community. They know what's going on out there... and, they can let their civic leaders know how to make things better.

Rio Dell has absolutely nothing to offer the youth of our community. There is no safe place where they can go to hang out, play basketball, skate indoors, play games,and play pool, etc... .

They need a teen center, where they can go to hang out, and let off a little steam in a safe, structured environment. We need to offer more workshops to our youth that will help to empower them, let them express themselves, rise above the odds, and take pride in their community.

The decisions we make on the city council today will affect our children's future. It will affect how they make their decision's. This is their town too. We need to do what is right for them, now.

I feel it is time for the community members of Rio Dell to step up to the City Council and say how they feel on issues that concern them. Whether it is going to a council meeting, or writing the council a letter, we all need to let our council know how we feel.

I feel it is time to give our community a face lift. We need to attract more small business owners who want to stay in our community and help make this town a success.
