Mt Diablo Health Care District has no assets, responsibilities or, according to 3 County Grand Jury reports, any reason for existence ("redundant bureaucracies").In 2004 there was an opportunity for the voters in central Contra Costa to elect 3 members to the Mt Diablo Health Care District whose main goal was to shut down the District, all 3 members were needed to form a majority in order to achieve that goal. Only one was elected. It's 2006 and we again have a chance to elect new members to the board and dissolve this "redundant bureaucracy". If elected my top priority will be the dissolution of the Mt Diablo Health Care District. |
