Signing this petition is the next step in a campaign asking you to flush the $20 million investment that you, the taxpayer, are already paying! Through unsubstantiated claims, you are being promised that stopping the project will make all our problems go away.

As seductive as this hope is, our community history with the sewer project demonstrates the exact opposite. For more than 20 years Los Osos has examined, re-examined, and examined again technologies to find a cheaper solution. However, each attempt to save money through technology has only brought higher and higher costs! Delays and litigation have added more millions to the cost… How much is too much?

I believe lower costs will only come through money from Washington and Sacramento.

In the face of abusive and disruptive behavior, I have consistently represented the entire community fairly and equally, patiently treating all with dignity and respect. You have elected me twice, and rejected a previous attempted recall.

It remains an honor to serve my community and I look forward to continuing to help find funding for the serious pollution clean up we face.
