Steve Hedrick has spent the last 22 years working for major theme park and entertainment companies throughout the world as a Producer and Project Director. As Producer, he uses his creative skills to lead teams of architects, designers, artists and craftspeople to conceive and deliver groundbreaking new projects. As Project Director, Steve has been responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars in new developments, from concept to completion. From 1982 to 1994, Steve oversaw multiple projects at Walt Disney World in Florida. During this time he was also team leader of the Disneyland Paris - Buffalo Bill Wild West Arena project. Working with Disney Development Company, Steve collaborated with famed architect Frank Gehry and oversaw the functional design and implementation of the Arena complex and show, totaling $65,000,000. In 1993, Disney relocated Steve and his family to Glendale where he began work on both domestic and international projects. His last project with Disney was as Senior Producer and Entertainment Project Director for the $1.3 billion dollar DisneySEA theme park project in Tokyo Japan. Steve's work on this project earned him the Themed Entertainment Association Award for Excellence and high praise from Disney corporate executives. Steve now owns and operates a theme park and entertainment consulting firm here in Glendale. "After working all over the world, it makes me appreciate what a great city we live in. If elected, I will use my many years professional experience for the people of Glendale. We all love this town. Like you, I want to protect Glendale from those who will want to reduce our quality of life with overspending, overbuilding and overburdening our city services. We can have smart development. I have spent my life doing it. Now I want to do it for Glendale through leadership and a clear vision that we all share. Please help me with your vote." Steve Hedrick |
