- Green Party of Humboldt County:
Greg is the author of the proposed Patient Protection, Police Review and Free Music & Entertainment acts, and is a key supporter of the four other civil liberties initiatives, all of which have been endorsed by Humboldt Greens as a strong legislative agenda reflecting Green values. Greg supports a responsible alternative to various development schemes under discussion, which is to build up. This will prevent sprawl and provide affordable space for students, persons on fixed incomes and commercial enterprises alike. Greg is also a strong advocate for a more muscular policy of socially responsible investing, extending this policy to City procurement as well. Greg supports living wage and just-cause eviction reforms to help our most vulnerable citizens. Greg Allen's candidacy not only offers a chance for Greens to recapture a majority on the City Council, but the promise of a deeper and more meaningful application of Green values. Greens proudly offer an endorsement to our attorney, Gregory Allen, for a second time."

"Greg will make a fine Councilperson because his heart is into doing right. I know he will not sell out to "special interests" (euphemism for conspiracy/corruption/criminality that is the norm in all levels of government). He has the intent to stand up and lead for what is right for Constitutional government, and because he's a lawyer he also knows how to apply the laws in legal arguments...while most politicians back down when told that "legalities" make some nefarious action "necessary" or that "we can't do that". We need him to take the initiative while we have a weak and corrupt City Attorney and City Manager, and stand up to all our appointed servants while others cowtow to their "expertise". See what Greg writes re H.S.U.'s Campus Chief of Police's outrageously illegal actions and blatant misinterpretations of Constitutional, California, and even U.S. Federal law re Medical Marijuana:"
