  • Occupation: Incumbent/ Rancher
  • Rancher in Carrisa Plains for past 30 years
  • Married with four children, two of which attend school in AUSD, one is enrolled at Cuesta College, and the oldest is a Cal Poly graduate
  • Current president of the AUSD Board of Trustees and a member of the Hot Topics Team at AHS, to increase parent awareness on teen issues
  • Previous member of the AUSD Budget Committee and Strategic Planning Team, Special Education Aide, and Carrisa Plains PTF Co-President
Top Priorities if Elected
  • My top priority as a school board member is to support the education of our students.
  • I will continue to utilize and support the District's Strategic Plan, which gives our school board direction and guidance in decision making.
  • I will continue to promote collaboration between parent, teacher, and student to better ensure the academic success of our students.
