Candidate for
Board Member; Union School District

My wife and I have been married for twenty years, and have four children. We have lived in the Union School District for over ten years, and I work as a software engineer at a large valley computer company.

Our family is very involved in the community. I especially believe that parents should be involved in the schools. As a result, I have volunteered in the district's extended learning program and the Union Middle School music program. I have also served as the Union Middle School Home and School Club president. I've also been the volunteer coordinator for the Leigh High School Grad Night celebration.

I have also worked to support the district by being the treasurer for the Measure C bond campaign, which raised the money needed to renovate the district's buildings. I'm currently the chair of the bond oversight committee, making sure that the money is spent properly.

In other organizations, I have been the treasurer for my church, and also have been an assistant scoutmaster.
