Better communication starts with your board members listening to your concerns and then advocating for you at board meetings. Improving academic programs and increasing vocational/occupational programs will help our District retain the large number of students that transfer to other districts which results in a lower operating budget. More after-school activities will also help our community. They can be funded through grants, local organizations and businesses and would include offerings in art, music, and technology and lots of homework assistance to students.
