This information is provided by the candidate

In March 2002. I was appointed to complete the term for the vacant City Clerk's office. My appointment was based on my education and experience in local government. I have an Associate's Degree in Engineering, a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, and a Master of Public Administration Degree.

For 25 years I worked for Orange County, California as an Analyst, Administrator, Supervisor, and Executive Assistant. My experience is in Public Works, Administration, Risk Management, Finance, Public Safety, and the County Executive Office. This varied experience has proven invaluable in working with the Hemet City Council, Department Heads, and Hemet Residents.

My accomplishments include the implementation and installation of an electronic agenda system used to prepare and maintain agendas for City Council. I have earned the designation as Certified Municipal Clerk based on my accumulated education, experience and conferences/seminars taken during my time as City Clerk. I have completed 5 of 10 seminars required to become a Certified Election Administrator, being one of the first California City Clerks that will obtain the designation.

If elected, my promise to you is to continue to be responsive, accurate, and impartial in carrying out the duties of the City Clerk's office.
