Board Member; Brea Olinda Unified School District; 4 Year Term

Having recently served on a local school board, and the years prior as a Legislative Aide to two of Orange County's State Legislators, I am uniquely qualified to serve you on our BOUSD.

I've faced the tough issues -- like literacy, school modernization, and readiness for higher education. There's no substitute for hands-on success and leadership.

During my tenure on the school board, standardized test scores rose at every grade level in every subject -- Reading, Math, Language, and Spelling.

As a parent, I'm passionate about ensuring that every student receives the highest quality education and I believe in taking positive action to make a difference.

Brea needs unified vision and effort -- the Board, superintendent, principals, teachers, parents, students and community working together.

That's why we need proven leadership that will allow our superintendent and all of our outstanding teachers and students to excel.
