WHY I AM RUNNING FOR LAGUNA NIGUEL CITY COUNCILBy Paul G. GlaabCandidate for Member, City Council; City of Laguna Niguel | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
I am running for City Council because I love Laguna Niguel. I have come to appreciate our community because I have lived in other states and in other counties of the world. I know what we truly have + and I want to protect it. I am a South County business owner with my wife, Janice. We are long-time Laguna Niguel residents and live here with our three-year daughter Molly. I have worked in both the public and private sectors. That, together with my being a business owner and involved community activist, I know what it takes to meet a payroll, maintain the commitment to our community and to protect what we have come to love about our city. We must maintain our fiscally responsible government in the face of growing state deficits. We must continue the legacy of leadership we have come to expect from our city leaders. We must ensure we have ample parks and open space, that our roads are kept in good repair...and we cannot forget our most important resource, our seniors. We must expand our senior center and ensure our senior programs meet the needs of our seniors. I look forward to being on the council in November. I will work hard to earn the trust for all Laguna Niguel residents. |
