  • 40 years professional experience with a large manufacturing facility, including management of water conservation and purification projects
  • Director of Metropolitan Water District of So. Calif. 1991-1994
Top Priorities if Elected
  • Complete ongoing conjunctive use process to store an additional 450,000 acre-feet underground. Enough for 900,000 families.
  • Drill deep exploratory wells to provide added water reserves. Possibly 20 million acre-feet underlying currently-utilized aquifers.
  • Capture up to 6000 acre-feet per year additional water behind Whittier Narrows Dam.
