Political Philosophy for Michael Francisco "Mike" Sarabia
Candidate for |
I believe voters are best qualified to select what is best for them from amongst the ideas presented by candidates. For this reason details are presented without trying to imply any of these ideas would be easily implemented. Lack of funds, approval of relevant agencies, etc., may delay, and even prevent, some from being implemented. Support by the responsible officials ought to be, and will be, acknowledged and their much greater area of responsibility acknowledged and respected, with my gratitude and support, and that of the voters. Claims of originality would be a distraction; none is implied. If you heard the same ideas elsewhere, fine, only their implementation matters to me, and to the voters. I hope voters select me to try as hard as I can to produce results, and be accountable in all meanings of this term. My most relevant experience was in the military, where I learnt to listen carefully to detect critical aspects, learnt to ask questions to resolve ambiguities, formulate a definition of the problem, try to evalute alternatives and try to find the best one.
MAC is an Advisory Council; I will respond to objections or requests for information fully, respectfully and quickly. I will focus on learning relevant internal procedures. I am aware others have greater area of respoonsibility and use different priorities.
