I support the CESP/Sierra Club plan to expand the Eastshore State Park. No Albany casino/No on 68. No Mega Mall in Albany. I support our wonderful schools.Robert Lieber Age: 50 Occupation: RN I am seeking election for City Council because Albany needs pragmatic, progressive leadership with a long-range vision to guide planning and development, including reasonable height limits along San Pablo Ave. We need to ensure that Golden Gate Fields becomes a community resource with parks and open spaces. No Slots! We need responsible increases to our tax base without jeopardizing essential services or our City's character. We must remain vigilant so our small city grows in a positive direction that continues to support a diverse community of healthy, active families. I have lived and worked in the East Bay most of my life with the exception of my 3 years of military service (1972-75). I have been a Registered Nurse at Alta Bates for over 18 years. I moved to Albany in 1986 because of its small town community spirit. My wife Cheryl and I have two young children who are thriving in the Albany school district. I am committed to making sure that Albany continues to remain an excellent place to live and raise a family. My commitment is supported by the endorsement of the Sierra Club. Please Vote.
