Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Santa Rita Union School District

Tom has been a lifelong resident of the Santa Rita Union School District. He attended Santa Rita Elementary School from kindergarten through sixth grade, El Sausal Jr. High, and North Salinas High School.

He has been married to Gail, a former Santa Rita library aide and now a second grade teacher, for twenty-two years. Both of his daughters attended Santa Rita School (K-5) and Gavilan View Middle School (6-8).

Tom is currently a project foreman for Granite Construction Company. He has worked throughout Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito Counties for the past twenty-six years.

He is very committed to the local community and school district. He has officiated As PTA President for Santa Rita Elementary School, served on various fund raising committees, and has volunteered in the classroom and on school sites whenever possible. Tom has served six years on the Santa Rita Union School District Strategic Planning Committee, and is currently on the District Policy Committee, the District Building Committee and officiates as the Vice President/Clerk of the school board.
