Currently MD, Psychiatrist. 1985 Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, Washington University in St. Louis; St. Louis, Missouri. (B.S. in OT, Ohio State 1978) Teaching Assistant in Graduate Program for 2 yrs. 5/87 First son, Kyle, born. 12/87 Move to Torrance-Purchase of home in North Torrance Area. 10/88 Second son, Matthew, born. 1992-1999 Yukon Elementary School Involvement Weekly classroom parent helper for both sons' classes. Math tutor, reading group assistant.Operated PTA Library for 5 years ~ 30 hrs/week. Coordinated volunteer staffing 3-5 days/week Built collection of Great Literature, Art and Music Books;Taught library use skills to classes. Initiated Accelerated Reader Program 1998-9, returned Fall of 1999 to pretest and restart for new year.Served on PTA Executive Board each year, as Vice President, Recording Secretary, Historian, etc.1 term as School Site Council Chairperson. TERRIFIC OPPORTUNITIES for learning.
