BUSINESS TO THE DISTRICTBy James G. "Jim" GuntherCandidate for State Senator; District 10 | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
Focus on bringing Business back to our District thus raising our tax base to balance the Budget. We must focus our legislation towards bringing business back to our District. We need to look at how our laws are structured and precieved. Businesses must be secure in knowing that if they locate here they won't be used as a cash cow for social programs or face burdening legislation in areas of worker's rights/compensation or the environment. That said, they must also know they will be held accountable to be good stewards of the environment and that they must take care of their workers. If we can fill the empty manufacturing bldgs in my district and those across the Bay we can balance out Budget without raising taxes or cutting valuable social programs. |
