Candidate for
Governing Board Member; Atascadero Unified School District

I am a fifth generation native of San Luis Obispo County. I have resided in the Atascadero Unified School District my entire life. I attended school in AUSD and graduated from Atascadero High School in 1978. I attended Jr. College at West Hills Community College in Coalinga California and recieved a certification in Agriculture Engineering. I am married and have three children currently attending Atascadero Unified Schools. I am a rancher and also have a business that does heavy equipment repair and metal fabrication.

I was originally appointed to the AUSD board, and ran for election in 2000. In the three years that I have served on the board, I have witnessed a great deal of change and progress, and I am running for the opportunity to continue serving the District and help insure continued success.
