South-System ground water overdraft

I support the north-south inter-tie, we must have an environmentally responsible, regional approach to solving the groundwater overdraft.
An important infrastructure improvement is underway to ease our depleted wells in the "south system". In the coming months, a north-south inter-tie pipeline is being planned that will allow the district to rest the probation wells in the rainy season while surface water is abundant, allowing natural recharge of the groundwater basin. I support this important water management tool because I believe that we must have an environmentally responsible, regional approach to solving this water crisis.
