academic achievement gap.
2. Implementation of standards as guides for all
educators, parents, students and community members so that all are aware of what knowledge and skills a student must master at benchmark grade levels.
3. Implementation of a comprehensive communications plan whose cornerstone is LISTENING to all the stakeholders in the community. A community united in one vision for students will in itself raise test scores, further reduce the achievement gap and equitably distribute monies/resources.
